Dowsing is a faculty
used to expand the abilities of its
practitioner beyond three-dimensional limitations.
Not fully explained - it creates a bridge
between science and spirituality. In the past
used mostly to find water - it greatly expanded
and now dowsing encompasses almost every aspect
of human life.
It may be nothing
more than a tool to amplify the subtle reactions
we experience being exposed, like everyone
and everything, to the ever-present vibrations
at different frequencies and different levels,
providing us with a physical manifestation
of them, and allowing us to identify their
source and use them in some beneficial way.
Pendulums and dowsing
rods are nothing else but
an indicator of what we already know through
intuition, acquired through our body acting
as a receiver and discriminator (tuner), a
needle of the meter, so to speak. Although
the exact source of the information or the
way it enters our subconscious is not
well defined, the most important thing is
- it works! There will always be people like
Randy who will try to dismiss dowsing and
related psychic phenomena as non-existent,
but we, who use dowsing in everyday life don't
need any scientific proof. It's been well
proven throughout the history - science
seems to follow miles behind what has been
discovered using paranormal methods. The latest
could be the "discovery" of tachyons
and Wilk's net.
There are so many
different ways that dowsing can be used -
from water and mineral dowsing, using it as
a form of communication and navigation (together
with pyramids in Ancient Egypt), testing water,
food, herbs or medicines for their compatibility
with our systems, finding missing people or
lost objects, checking sex of unborn children
or unhatched eggs, many different facets of
healing, including medical diagnosing, spiritual
healing, adjusting chakras or meridians, etc.,
quality control, even stock market dowsing.
This is just a
brief note trying to explain the basics of
dowsing. To learn more - get some

check some
dowsing links,
find an experienced dowser in your area that
would be willing to be your mentor, participate
in the workshops and activities of many chapters
of ASD (American Society of Dowsers), Questers
of Canada or British Society of Dowsers -
there probably is one in your area.
