Dowsing Updates --->>October 5, 2001

DOWSING CHARTS REVISITED

***************************************************

Well, there was no update in October. Sorry about that - I got so involved in many different projects that there was little time left. I'll try to make up for that later.

My participation in a few groups sending healing energy to the sites of the recent tragedies brought up some interesting issues of personal development. It seems that in order to be effective in sending energy our own energy balance should be maintained. The more we work on our personal development the easier it becomes to help others. After all it does increase the pool of global consciousness!
What are your thoughts on that?

DOWSING CHARTS REVISITED

***************************************************

I've noticed quite a few new names on the list; some of you asked questions regarding the use of dowsing charts. I use them regularly and I find them very useful, especially for dowsing task that are often repeated. You don't need much to make a dowsing chart - a ruler, compass and a pencil will do, most computer drawing programs will also let you create simple charts with ease.

Dowsing charts can be in a form of a linear ruler, or as a half or full circle with a scale and numbers or description. An example of a linear chart is Bovis scale, the most popular half circle chart is a percentage chart from 0 to 100%. You can make your chart in a form that you are most comfortable with, e.g. I use Bovis scale in a form of a half circle.

Many times if I don't have a chart with me and need to check the percentage - I use a palm of my left hand with fingers stretched out: the thumb is the zero point while pinky represents 100%. You can also use real or imagined watch face.

Using a bit of imagination you can create dowsing charts for checking water depth, quality (hardness, ph, presence of pollutants), flow, you can use it to find the vitamin, mineral, flower essence, etc. that your body may need, find the strengths and weaknesses of your business venture, locate a problem in your car or computer, etc.

I put a few more samples of dowsing charts at:

also accessible from the link "dowsing tips" on the main page.
There are also some charts in Walt Wood's Letter to Robin:
